RUB RAIL INSTALLATION
How to install rub rail
Tessilmare Rub-Rail Profiles are studied for easy installation.
Radial
Radial is composed by two modules:
- a Rigid Track,
- a soft Bumper.
The track, in PVC rigid is very elastic can be cold fitted and it follows perfectly the bends of the boat, this track can be fixed with blind rivets or self drilling screws in stainless steel A4 (316).
The external profile can be installed cold.
Starting from the transom fixing the first 20 cm, than bending back the profile forcing the two catches to open and to fit into the fins of the track. Continue towards the bow remembering, at each meter approx, to lengthen the profile of 2-3 cm so the stretching is perfect, complete the operation on the whole turn of the boat, block the ending part of the profile with one or two screws and finish with the end caps or joint caps.
Achieved with a minimum of (work) the operation is fast and the result will be perfect and with high functionality.

This Patented Rub rail is produced in two modules, a PVC soft base and a Stainless Steel 316 L rigid bar with a Duralene Core.
Prop the soft profile of the base against the entire length of the boat and hold in place with vertical strips of gummed tape.
The Stainless Bar application will start by the bow, bending the board in the middle so that both sides have about the same lenght.
For technical reasons, do not place a hole in the center of the bow bend or in the center of the stern corners.
Then cut the side strips to the correct size and complete the installation using the supplied joint covers.

This Super High Impact Yacht-Boat-Dock Profile consists of 3 modules:
- a middle-soft PVC middle base,
- a fixing pre-drilled bar in stainless steel,
- a top middle-soft PVC cover.
Unwinding the rolls, this operation can be done without heating, but a pre-heating makes really easier the mounting phase.
Drill holes in the boat using the same holes of the bars as a guide.
Apply the closing profile by pressing with a rubber hammer.

Bino-X
BINO-X is the last invention, the Pat. Pend Rub Rail Yacht Profile never seen before Two modules for this invention:
- a Pvc mid-soft PVC Base,
- a Stainless Steel cap coper.
Attach the soft profile of the base against the entire length of the boat with screws.
The screw head has to be flush with the PVC, without any protrusions.
Do not over tighten the screws, the rub rail must be smooth without depressions or imperfections.
The stainless steel bars are first pressure fitted by hand and then tapping with a plastic board and hammer (as shown). The assembly of the stainless steel bars must begin at the bow and proceed towards the stern from on one side and then from the other.
A joint cap is required in between each 3 meter bar.
Cut any loose PVC parts with a box cutter. As a final step, install the end-caps.
